Nikon Spinning disk confocal microscope. Details: Yokogawa CSU-X1 Spinning Disk Confocal on NIkon Ti Eclipse stage. Hammatsu ImageEM EMCCD digital camera. Enclosed mircsoscope incubator (no CO2 control, just heat). Motorized stage and piezo Z drive with perfect focus system to combat Z drift. Objective (10x, 40x LWD water, 100x oil). The Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics (LFD) is a national research resource center for biomedical fluorescence spectroscopy, supported by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS P41GM103540) divisions of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
The founder and Principal Investigator of the LFD is Enrico Gratton. The Co-Investigator is Michelle Digman.
